Mix A ( Auto Screen ) - Video A with Alpha @ 100% ( blend mode set to screen to avoid a black screen )
Mix B - Video B with Alpha @ 100%
Mix A // Mix B - Video A & Video B with Alpha @ 50 %
Random Frame A - Video A Jumps to a Random Frame
Random Frame B - Video B Jumps to a Random Frame
Hide/Show - Hides and Shows Help Overlay
Screen - Hard light - Sets blend mode of Video A ( FX only active when set to Mix A // Mix B )

( Warning !! only works for KLP vol 1 ,3 , & 4 !!! Warning this may crash your app !!! )
What you will need
a video encoder that can encode into .FLV formate with the codec On2 VP6 ( we will be using Adobe Media Encoder )
a way to embed the .flv into a .swf file ( we are going to be using flash cs 5.5 )
and some time on your hands
Generally speaking you can squeeze around 5 - 10 mins of footage via this method ... you can get more footage if u lower the encoding setting but this method if set for quality not quantity !
1. edit your media !
Use your favorite Video editor to cut together about 5 -10mins of of footage ( i used DV as my output formate normally )
2. Encode your media
here are the settings I use ( or refer to the image below )
Export Settings
Turn off Export Audio ( saves on space )
( at the bottom ) Turn on Maximum Render Quality
Basic Video Settings
codec : On2 VP6
Resize Video to 656 by 480 ( we will later stretch this to 1024 by 768 )
Set frame rate to 15
Turn on Render at Maximum depth
Bitrate Settings
Turn the bit rate to high ( you can lower it to medium to get more bang for your buck )
Turning this setting down to medium can allow you to boost the length of your video to 15 mins or even more !!! However this all depends on the content, certain types of content need higher bit rates to capture the image clearly. So lowering the bit rate can introduce artifacts. All content provided inside of the app is rendered on high to provide a high quality image! but remember in the end it is the file size that is the limitation not the length !
Advance Settings

3. Embed into .SWF
Create a new Flash document with these properties
fps : 15.00 Size 1024 x 768
you can use this template - link
go to file and import the video to the library
Make sure you choose to embed FLV in SWF and play in timeline !!!!!
then NEXT !
on the next screen you can turn off " Place instance on stage " or ignore it completely as it won't do anything since you picked to import to library …
and then next one more time !
Now that you have the FLV imported. We are going to drag and drop it on to our stage ( choose yes when it ask you to add the needed frames )
Resize it ( i would suggest using the modify - align commands first to center it on the stage ) !
and ready to publish it !
turn up jpeg quality to 100 and turn on jpeg deblocking !
Make sure you name it v1.swf
and the publish !
Now open itunes and go to your ipad's file sharing screen ! and add the files to the KLP App !
Make sure to reboot the app after you add the files !
if the app crashes chances are your swf is too large or is trying to stream too much data at once ( bit rate too high )
try editing your content down a bit ...
remove the .swf file to restore the original content
Also No code allowed in your .swf! it will crash the app !
